China Shenhua Energy signed a 13.8 billion yuan ($2.02 billion) coal supply contract with Datang International Power Generation, sina.com reported Tuesday. The new contract will be valid until the end of 2013. Shenhua said the contract sales price rose to 570 yuan ($83.51) per ton, 30 yuan ($4.40) higher than in 2009.
