The statistic data issued by the Federal Statistics Office on March 22 indicated that German export to China in 2009 rose 7% to EUR36.5b (roughly USD49.4b).

Data showed that German machinery export was the main force to push the growth of the country’s export to China last year. In 2009, German machinery export to China rose 4.3% to EUR11b. Also, German auto and parts export significantly rose 18% to EUR6.4b.
