Up to late March 2010, 48 Fortune 500 enterprises had settled in Hunan province to have set up foreign-invested enterprises or branches, of which there were 43 ones with headquarters established at abroad, one with the headquarters in Hong Kong, China, and 4 ones with headquarters in Chinese mainland, a total of 49 foreign-invested enterprises or branches being established. In the current month of March, the enterprises whose main business is auto and ranking the 64th across the globe—FIAT SpA newly settled in the province.
