China-Georgia Trade Volume Grows 86 pct

The bilateral trade volume between China and Georgia grew 86 percent year on year to 46.77 million U.S. dollars in the first two months this year, said a statement posted on the Ministry of Commerce's web site Monday.
Georgia's exports to China amounted to 3.02 million U.S. dollars in the first two months, jumping 354 percent from a year ago. China's exports to Georgia rose 79 percent to 43.75 million U.S. dollars.
China became Georgia's fifth largest trading partner, said the statement without giving the reasons for the trade growth.
