Turkey's exports in March jump 34%

Turkey's exports in March surged 34. 3 percent year-on-year, the semi-official Anatolia news agency reported Thursday.
Exports in March reached 9.6 billion U.S. dollars, the report cited figures from the Turkish Exporters' Assembly (TIM) as saying.
In the first quarter, Turkey's exports rose 22.4 percent from the previous quarter to 25.7 billion dollars, said the report.
There was a significant rise in exports to Europe, neighboring countries and Far East markets in the first quarter, the report quoted TIM Chairman Mehmet Buyukeksi as saying in the southeastern province of Kahramanmaras on Thursday.
In a separate report, the agency said exports from southern Turkish Antalya Province in the first three months increased 106 percent year-on-year to 274 million dollars.
