ABSTRACT: Based on the analysis of synthetic mechanism of diamond by combustion flame method, the growth

uniformity during the depositing of diamond film on the tools by combustion flame method has been studied.The reasons of ab-normal outgrowth of diamond on the edge are analysed and protection measures therefore are proposed, and uniform diamond film coated tools has been obtained.
