ABSTRACT: A new kind of resin of tribasic copolymer, methyl methacrylate(MMA), butyl methacrylate(BMA), Mathylacrylic acid(MAA)(MMA/BMA/MAA), are synthesized as the curing agent of epoxy resin. The cured resin are known as thermosetting acrylic-epoxy resin. The resin is applied on the coated abrasives as a coat resinous binder. The coad resinous binder provides coated abrasives excellent properties, eg. adhesive strength, water-proof property, flexibility and technological execution.
