Trade Volume between the Mainland and Hong Kong in the First 3 Months Rose Nearly 30% Year-on-Year

Based on statistics of the Ministry of Commerce, from January to March this year, the trade volume between the mainland and Hong Kong stood at USD43.68b, up 29.1% year-on-year. Among them, export of the mainland to Hong Kong amounted to USD41b, up 27.3% year-on-year; import from Hong Kong USD2.68b, up 63.3% year-on-year.
In March, trade volume between the mainland and Hong Kong was USD18.37b, up 57.4% from a month earlier.
From January to March, the mainland totally approved 2427 Hong Kong-invested projects, up 18.5% year-on-year, with the actually utilized capital of Hong Kong of USD10.39b, up 19.1% year-on-year.
