Rush at IMTS

Rush Machinery, US agents for Taiwanese machine manufacturers Farman Machinery, showed the FC-250W and FC-250EX diamond and CBN wheel trueing and dressing machines at the recent IMTS 2008 show in Chicago, USA.
The FC-250W and FC-250EX models are designed for trueing and dressing of flats, angles, and radii on diamond and CBN single wheels and multiple wheel packs. The FC-250EX features PLC-controlled, automatic dressing cycles with servo-driven dressing wheel infeed and power swing. The machine is fully enclosed for operator safety and dust control.
Use of these two machines allows for increased efficiency and accuracy by profiling, modifying profiles and truing wheels properly - offline of the production grinding machinery. The machines are claimed to be simple to operate, quick, accurate and cost effective.
The heavy duty one piece cast iron base provides extra rigidity and minimises vibration. Standard features include ExVision, a computer-driven vision system with a software program specifically designed for the FC-250W and FC-250EX and their various applications, an automatic power zoom and a 2-axis DRO for measurement
