Steeling for a rise

BAOSHAN Iron and Steel Co, China's largest steel maker, said it will increase steel plate prices for May after iron ore prices climbed.
The price for cold-rolled products will rise by 200 yuan (US$29) a metric ton while the hot-rolled plates price is unchanged.
Electric steel products will rise by 600 yuan a metric ton while prices for thick steel plates will increase 500 yuan a ton.
