Properties and Application of multilayer Metal/Alloy Film Coated Diamond

ABSTRACT: In this paper are introduced the low-temperature plasma composite technology. The clad diamomd with multilayer films of metals, alloys or metalceramics are manufctured by low-temperature plasma composite technology. The conditions forming strong bond structure transition zone between the coating and diamond are obtained.rhe multilayer structure clad diamond have such advantages as:comperssion strength and oxidation resistance of diamand at high temperature and metallurgical bond strength between the clad diamond and the matrix material are increased. The applications of multilayer structure clad diamond are also introduced.
