Namakwa Diamonds' Revenues Up 362%

Namakwa Diamonds Limited’s revenues increased 362% to $36.2 million during the first six months of fiscal 2010, while the company’s net loss dropped to $11.9 million from $76.7 million a year earlier, according to Diamond World.
The company’s rough diamonds inventory decreased 61% to $5.4 million, while its polished diamond inventory rose 36% to $11.3 million.
Namakwa Diamonds, which has exploration projects are present in South Africa, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Namibia and Angola, projects the demand and supply of rough diamonds in the long term to be positive and to have a positive effect on its profits and growth plans.
