Russian State Agency Arrests Man Trying to Sell Diamonds in Moscow

A Moscow resident who attempted to sell 5 diamonds, including a rough diamond weighing 11 carats, has been arrested by the staff of the General Directorate Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia’s Central Federal District.
According to the man arrested, the stones were smuggled from South Africa, though police officers discovered that the diamonds were imported into Russia from the United Arab Emirates.
