Hong Kong Prohibits Rough Diamonds from Cote d'Ivoire

The Diamond Federation of Hong Kong, China Ltd. (DFHK) has stated its position on prohibiting import of rough diamonds from Cote d'Ivoire, following a circular published by the Hong Kong government, reports Diamond World.
The regulation, which is due to expire on 31 October 2010, refer to a prohibition against the importation of rough diamonds from Cote d’Ivoire, according to reports.
