ABSTRACT : Diamond doped with â…¢ or V column elements is a wide-bandgap semiconductor with superior physical and chemical properties. Semi-conducting diamond has great promise in electronic and optoelectronic devices due to its exceptional properties. The current status and technology of diamond doping (including CVD method and ion implantation)are reviewed and the prospect of diamond semiconductor is presented.
