The pink satin gown worn by Marilyn Monroe for her "Diamond's are a Girl's Best Friend" sequence in the 1953 film "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes" will be a part of a Hollywood memorabilia auction, the Telegraph reported.
The gown, dubbed "the most important Hollywood dress ever," will be one of 1,500 landmark items featured in a huge auction of famous film props and costumes, and is expected to fetch $250,000.
Other iconic items featured in the auction include the "Wicked Witch of the West hat" from The Wizard of Oz (1939), the "Holy Grail" from Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), Darth Vader's lightsaber from Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi (1983), Johnny Depp's scissorhands from Edward Scissorhands (1990) and his Jack Sparrow jacket from Pirates of the Caribbean (2003).
The auction has been set for June 10.
