ImaGem Inc, which develops diamond grading equipment and services, will showcase its new ImaGem-Viewer in the coming JCK Show in Las Vegas.
According to a company press release, ImaGem-Viewer, which is used to compare diamonds, gemstones or jewelry, can also helps diamantaires and gem merchants to see with ease the characteristic “blue flash” in composite rubies.
The presentation will be a part of the 3-hour Workshop on Composite Rubies sponsored by AGA with the JVC and American Gemological Laboratories (AGL).
“The ImaGem-Viewer plays an important role in the sales process,” said Dr. Aggarwal, founder and Chairman of ImaGem.
“Unlike other viewers on the market, the viewer does not have moving parts or flickering lights. It can be purchased directly from ImaGem without any qualifying pre-conditions or restrictions,” he added.
The ImaGem-Viewer works independently of a computer and has adjustable lighting. It can be used to compare multiple stones and jewelry pieces. It can clearly show the signature pattern in branded cuts such as “hearts and arrows” etc. Comparison of diamonds with different cut qualities makes a powerful and convincing sales presentation.
“Lately composite rubies are flooding the market and have become a big cause for concern,” said Suzanna Stull, Director of International Sales at ImaGem.
The ImaGem-Viewer will be available for purchase at the JCK Show.
