Vice Commerce Minister Fu Ziying Headed China Government Business Delegation to Visit Georgia

On June 4, Chinese vice commerce minister Fu Ziying headed China government business delegation to Georgia to have an official call on Georgian Prime Minister Nika Gilauri and held talks with minister of the Georgia Department of Economic Development Pololikashivili and finance minister Kakha Baindurashvili respectively.
Both parties reached an agreement in the following four aspects: firstly to exert mutual economic complementarity to expand balance trade growth; secondly, to continuously enhance the cooperation in the areas of infrastructures such as railway, highway, transformation of power stations and communication; thirdly, to give fully play to the mechanism of China-Georgian economic and trade mixed committee to positively carry out the cooperation in such service areas as science and technology, agricultural cooperation and probing finance and tourism while shoring up and promoting the existing trade investment items; and fourthly, to make great efforts to boost the local cooperation between Xinjiang and Georgia.
Over the visiting period, both parties signed the inter-governmental economic and technical cooperation agreement and Nuctech Company Limited and Georgia signed the project execution contract under the framework of the bilateral government agreement.
