HRD Antwerp, a non-commercial trade association, announced it has inaugurated a new non-commercial trade association – Belgium HRD Association China.

According to Diamond World, the announcement was made during the Antwerp Week in the Belgium-EU pavilion at the Shanghai World Expo 2010.

The Belgium HRD Association China, said the group, was established "as a platform fostering networking opportunities between graduates of HRD Antwerp courses, providing its members a direct link to the Antwerp World Diamond Centre, and updated information on diamond industry developments."

It also seeks to improve dialogue between the Chinese and Belgian diamond sectors.

Belgium HRD Association China will be located in the China Diamond Trading Centre, Shanghai, at the HRD Antwerp premises.
