De Beers Donates Computers for South Africa Schools

Diamond giant De Beers announced it has donated 30 computers to Boaramelo Combined School in Jagersfontein, in the Free State province of South Africa.
According to the miner's website, De Beers donated the computers to Boaramelo Combined School in Jagersfontein, in the Xhariep District of the Free State, with aim to improve skills for both students and educators.
"De Beers is making a difference in the Jagersfontein Community… Because of the nature of our product, the attitude De Beers takes to its social responsibilities also has to be different.
"We concentrate our efforts on communities in areas in which we mine and have operated. Jagersfontein is such an area with great need and urgent challenge for community development," said the miner's statement.
"It is with great pleasure that De Beers is back here again to give back to the needy, by donating 30 Computers that will provide computer skills and much more to the Boaramelo Combined School."
