The latest data issued by the Shanghai Municipal Statistics Bureau indicated that in May, Shanghai realized the total foreign trade import and export of USD30.165b, up 49.6% from the same period last year, of which export amounted to USD14.743b, hitting a new record high this year, up 48.1%; and import USD15.422%, up 51%.
