There were 120 newly approved foreign-invested enterprises in Henan in the first five months, up by 42.9% year-on-year; the contracted foreign capital reached USD1.57b, up 2.4% year-on-year; the actual utilized foreign investment was USD2.26b, up 35.2% year-on-year. There were 24 newly approved foreign-invested enterprises in May, up 33.3% year-on-year; the contracted foreign capital was USD316m, down 24.1% year-on-year; the actual utilized foreign investment was USD510m, up 42.3%.
