Rockwell Diamonds Recovers 145 Ct Stone form Saxendift Mine

Rockwell Diamonds announced the recovery of several large stones recovered from its Holpan and Saxendrift operations.
According to the miner's website, Rockwell recovered three large diamonds from its Holpan and Saxendrift operations in April: a 66-carat clean white stone (color E to F) with minor inclusions was recovered from Holpan, and 124 and 145 carats stones were found at Saxendrift.
The 124-carat stone is F to G in color and has a line of inclusion set along an internal flaw. The 145-carat Saxendrift stone is a light yellow ("Cape"), with rounded octahedral shape and inclusions.
These large stones, said the miner, have been sold to theSteinmetz Diamond Group.
Rockwell Diamonds also posted a mid-year recap of its diamond sales, saying that in its most recent diamond sale, the company achieved an average of $1,735 per carat. The year to date average for Rockwell diamond production is about $1,216 per carat – 19% below Rockwell's long term average of $1,500 per carat.
