It was known by the reporter from the Heilongjiang Provincial Bureau of Statistics that from the beginning of this year, trade of the province to Russia witnesses a momentum of rapid growth. In May, the import and export of the province to Russia totaled USD570m, up 45.7% from the same period last year, of which export amounted to USD340m, up 47.3%; and import USD240m, up 43.4%.

Statistics indicated that in the first 5 months of this year, the province totally realized the total import and export of USD8.32b, up 30.3% year-on-year, while trade with Russia accounted for nearly 30% of the total import and export of the province in the same period to 30.5%.
