Russian state enterprise plans to enlarge foreign participation

Russian leading state corporation Rosnano dealing with micro technologies has planned to bring the number of joint projects with foreign participation up to 25 percent, the RBC news agency reported on Wednesday.
"Now we have 10 to 12 percent of joint projects, this is too little," Rosnano's project office director Mikhail Chuchkevich said.
"We need some quarter of the portfolio consisted of quality projects with other countries. In this case, we'll be able to match the world technological business landscape," he added.
Chuchkevich admitted that Rosnano has been resolving its problems with the help from other countries.
"We invite them all to invest in our business. We are searching interesting technologies and strong companies in the U.S., Israel, Europe, South Korea, Japan and Britain. We conduct joint projects with them and invest into start-ups on the Russian territory," he said.
According to one of the company's manager, Rosnano is negotiating with German and U.S. foundations about setting up an fund for alternative energy. The Americans offered to fund production of flexible solar panels with the total investment up to 300 million U.S. dollars.
