Israel Diamond Exchange President Avi Paz was unanimously elected to serve a further term as President of the World Federation of Diamond Bourses. Ernie Blom will continue to serve as his Deputy.

In his first speech during the opening of the World Federation of Diamond Bourses Congress, Avi Paz praised the behavior of responsibility, stability and maturity of diamantaires during the crisis period.

With that – he said – there is a need to continue to behave cautiously and to make suggestions and plans that will help us cope with the future. Avi Paz invited the congress participants to brainstorm to promote the global diamond sector.
