Import and Export of Beijing in the First Half of 2010 Rose 60.2% Year-on-Year

In the first half of this year, foreign trade of Beijing continued the momentum of recovery growth since 2009, with the import and export accumulatively reaching USD144.4b, up 60.2% year-on-year. Among them, export amounted to USD26b, up 16.3% year-on-year; import USD118.4b, up 74.7% year-on-year; and trade deficit USD92.4b, up once year-on-year, thus foreign trade presenting a balanced development.
