The total volume of import and export of Beijing amounted to $144.4 billion in the first half year, up by 60.2 percent year-on-year, the Beijing Customs announced Monday. Export amounts to $26 billion, while imports topped $118.4 billion. Cell phones and crude oil were the top export and import commodities respectively.
