DuPont Chemical Solutions Enterprise announces the availability of new products for the stone, tile and leather markets that deliver maximum performance and a minimal environmental footprint.

New DuPont Capstone products are based on short-chain chemistry and provide a step-change reduction in trace impurities below the limit of detection, offering customers the same or better performance than their predecessors without a compromise in fluorine efficiency. For stone, tile and concrete markets, DuPont Capstone products impart an impregnating durable protection from staining. Capstone products protect from oil and water based stains and make clean-up easy. Capstone products can be used on natural stone, tile and concrete installations.

In the leather market, DuPont Capstone products provide an invisible, long-lasting barrier against liquids, oils and dry soils. From footwear and apparel to home furnishings and accessories, DuPont Capstone products provide superior stain protection, and can reduce the number of cleanings required. Capstone products will not change the look, quality, hand or color of the leather.

Capstone products also meet the goals of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency 2010/15 PFOA Stewardship Program and will be registered on global inventories in all countries where they are sold.
