Exports under the Support of Sinosure Reached USD300b for 8 Years

It was known from the International Market Expansion and Risk Prevention Meeting joint held by Sinosure and the Commercial Bureau of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region on July 28 that as of June this year, the exports of foreign trade enterprises under the supports of Sinosure with tools incuding export credit insurance accumulated over USD300b for more than 8 years.
As reported, since Sinosure, a policy-supported insurance institution, was established in 2001, it has helped enterprises to raising funds of almost RMB620b from banks. In 2009, the size of export and credit insurance reached USD98.7b, accounting for 18.6% of the total amount of general trade, a rise of 12.1% over 2008.
By June 2010, the indemnities paid by Sinosure for its clients reached USD1.82b.
