Fifteenth Meeting of Hong Kong-Guangdong Cooperation Joint Conference Held in Hong Kong

The fifteenth meeting of Hong Kong-Guangdong Cooperation Joint Conference was held on the morning of August 3 in Hong Kong, which reviewed the latest progress of bilateral cooperation, particularly confirmed the schedule of implementing the Hong Kong-Guangdong Cooperation Framework Agreement and discussed the key points of work in the following stage and preliminary arrangements of next joint conference.
Hong Kong and Guangdong signed the Hong Kong-Guangdong Cooperation Framework Agreement in early April, which is the first programmatic document related to the two places’ cooperation and deliberated and adopted by the State Council. It has set orientations for the long-term development in 6 aspects for the cooperation between Hong Kong and Guangdong, including the new world-class economic area, financial cooperation area, base of manufacturing and the modern service industry, modern logistics economic circle, high-quality living community and world-class city agglomeration, and related orientations have provided clear ways for Hong Kong-Guangdong coordinated development.
