China Low Carbon Economy Forum was held in Mohe, Heilongjiang province on August 13. Member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and vice chairman of the CPPCC Wang Gang send a letter of congratulations.

Wang hopes the Forum shall deeply carry out and implement the scientific outlook on development, earnestly sum up the successful experience of strengthening ecological civilization construction, proactively advocate the new idea of developing green economy, low-carbon economy and recycling economy to make active contributions to promoting ecological civilization construction and speeding up the transformation of economic growth pattern.

Vice chairman of the CPPCC Chen Zongxing attended the Forum, and more than 150 responsible persons, experts and scholars of related departments including the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministries of Environment Protection and Science and Technology and the State Forestry Bureau focused on such topics as low carbon economy and demonstration zone development plan, low-carbon economic development and industrial structure adjustment and carbon exchange reserves and carbon transactions outlook to conduct an in-depth discussion.
