Third China-Japan High-level Economic Dialogue to be Held in Beijing

As agreed by China and Japan, the third China-Japan high-level economic dialogue is to be held in Beijing on August 28. Vice Premier Wang Qishan and Japanese Foreign Minister Katsuya Okada will co-chair the dialogue.
Presently, the world is at a critical point turning from overcoming the financial crisis to promoting full economic recovery, and all countries are facing common tasks for the adjustment of global economic structure and transformation of economic development mode, which requiring all countries to work together and strengthen cooperation, it is of great significance for China and Japan to hold dialogue on economic recovery, strengthening bilateral win-win cooperation, as well as regional and international cooperation. The dialogue shall promote the sustainable development of China-Japan economic cooperation, and consolidate bilateral strategic and mutually beneficial relationship.
China-Japan high-level economic dialogue is the highest level economic cooperation mechanism of the two countries, and the first two dialogues were held in December 2007 and June 2009 respectively in China and Japan.
