China's steel mills produced 1.711 million tons of crude steel per day in the middle 10 days of August, little changed from the previous 10 days, data from the China Iron & Steel Association (CISA) showed Monday.

Daily crude steel output in the first 10 days of August was 1.719 million tons.

CISA's data showed that its members, comprising about 78 big steel mills, produced 1.422 million tons of crude steel per day in the middle 10 days of August, compared with 1.413 million tons in the last 10 days.
