The assailant, who came on a motorcycle, fled with a bag containing diamonds, police said, adding that the amount of the diamonds is not known, said the report. The deceased was identified as Dhiru Talasia, a resident of Katargam, it said.

The police said Talasia had gone to deliver the diamonds to a party in the Blue Diamond building at Nandu Doshi Wadi. Further investigations are on, said the report.
