Electroplated diamond bits are important tools of exploration and construction. Performances of bits are basis on their procedure of manufacture. Bits, which produce with traditional procedure, occurring some flaw such as long-production-cycle, obviously edge effect, inner-stress of plate is too great, some parts is easy to fall.The aim of this study is that taking ultrasonic technology into manufacture of electroplated diamond bits to improve its procedure, including pretreatment and electroplating of it.In the process of electroplated diamond bits, it usually can not reach a clean level for requesting of using regulations cleaning method. This article analyzed the adaptability of ultrasonic cleaning technology to electroplate diamond bits pretreatment, and begin with the component of surface oxide films, analyzed the mechanism of the effect of ultrasonic and etching with acid solution to clean oxide films and ultrasonic would enhance the chemical effect of surfactant, and designed the production process for the ultrasonic cleaning of production of electroplated diamond bits, provided dependable basis for production.In the part of ultrasonic-electroplating, detailed physics and chemistry mechanism of plating, and ensure the key factor which affects metal ion sediment on cathode is polarization, the strong-mix of ultrasonic could make sure the consistence on surface of cathode. Because inner-stress is main factor of bits manufacture, put more attention on it. From source of it, analyses inner-stress affection to bit performance. In measuring it, replace projection-method with a ration method. Use this craftwork in trial-manufacture; these bits are better than bits which manufacture with traditional craftwork in life and velocity.Development that base on the other course, put forward the estimate of the development to production craft and original materials that electroplated the diamond augers, combine electroplate-brush technique and the ion processing technology, designing the homologous craft.
