How to Enhance Sandstone Color

If you have sandstone within your home, you may want to find ways to bring out the stone's beautiful color. In order to enhance the color of sandstone, you can use treatment products on the stone slab. Color treatments give sandstone a more polished look without damaging the material.
Clean the sandstone thoroughly. Before you attempt to enhance the color of the sandstone, clean the surface completely and remove any debris. Use mild dish detergent and water to clean the sandstone surface.
Take a clean rag and apply the stone color enhancer to the sandstone. You'll want to use the product liberally in order to cover the entire surface. After you completely cover the surface, wait 15 to 20 minutes for the product to set.
Wipe away the excess after you have finished applying the Stone Color Enhancer. If you need help getting up the solution, you can use a small amount of mineral water.
