Powder metallurgy sintering, electroplating and brazing are three methods manufacturing diamond tool. Electroplating diamond tool holds diamonds mainly depending on plating layer"s mechanical burying, powder metallurgy sintering diamond tool has some metallurgical combining, but among these two methods, there is not integrated chemical and metallurgical combining interface between binding material and diamonds, so hold is not strong, machining under heavier load, diamonds fall off easily; furthermore, diamonds distribute randomly, so diamonds are utilized irrationally and deficiently. Brazing diamond tools can realize integrated chemical and metallurgical combining between binding material and diamonds, so combing intensity is high, hold is strong, holding diamonds only need 30% ~ 40% embedding depth, and diamonds protrusion height can reach 60% ~ 70%, which results in greatly increasing space holding chips and gains sharper form. Furthermore, brazing diamond tools can realize diamonds orderly arrangement, so diamonds are utilized adequately and rationally.Presently, brazing method manufacturing diamond tools rests on laboratory phase, manufacturing process is far from perfect, manufacturing environment which needs vacuum or protecting atmosphere is rigorous, manufacturing cost is high, which lead to this method"s generalization and application inconvenient, and does not equip with mass production condition.In this dissertation, author mainly researches brazing process and manufacturing performance:First, research high frequency induction brazing diamond process in airAuthor adopts three projects which are pressing block project and none pressing block project and die project, two charging brazing material methods which are alloying power and organic bond and two die material which are electric and nonelectric.successfully realize high frequency induction brazing diamond in atmosphere,60% ~ 80% diamond protrusion height, best brazing process and diamonds orderly arrangement.Second, test brazing performance and manufacturing performanceAuthor conducts grinding experiment with four projects which are same brazing process and different manufacturing parameters, different brazing process and same manufacturing parameters, brazing tool and sintering tool with same manufacturing parameters and brazing tool and sintering tool with different manufacturing parameters, and analyses experiment data.experiment validates realizing high intensity hold of diamond, grinding power and force of brazing diamond tool is far lower in same manufacturing condition than grinding power and force of sintering diamond tool, so brazing diamond tool can be applied in high efficiency machining fields with heavy load and great cutting depth.
