Sarin Technologies, an Israeli company that develops and manufactures cutting-edge diamond processing technology, has launched the Solaris 100 inclusion mapping system, the company announced this week.
The Solaris 100, designed for use on smaller rough diamonds, is based on the same technology in the company's Galaxy 1000 system and provides members of the diamond trade who specialize in small rough stones with an economically viable solution to detect and map inclusions in rough diamonds less than two carats in size.
According to Sarin CEO Uzi Levami, the Solaris 100 system provides a lower entry level price and an ongoing pay-per-use model that is optimized for smaller diamonds. "We worked with our customers to introduce a package specifically tailored to their needs," Levami noted.
The Solaris 100 also produces images with particularly high resolution and links to the company's DiaExpert products that run Advisor 4.0 or higher software.
