Sarin Technologies, an Israel-based leading developer and manufacturing of technological solutions for the diamond industry, has launched the Strategist tool, which the company describes as the "optimal link" between its Galaxy, Advisor, and Quazar systems.
The Sarin Strategist will take information generated by its Galaxy and Solaris diamond scanning programs and its Advisor system to help keep operator errors to a minimum and reduce weight loss in diamonds being processed.
The Strategist uses a combination of hardware and software to free up laser time. It uses the diamond's three-dimensional structure and planned locations of polished diamond to generate a "safer and higher yield sawing plan." Essentially, the Strategist integrates rough planning and laser-sawing into a computer-controlled process.
Sarin CEO Uzi Levani said that the Strategist "provides powerful synergies by combining all of the best and latest of Sarin Technologies’ offerings!"
Levami said that linking the Advisor and Quazar systems with the Strategist "will allow the manufacturer to add one plus one and realize a result greater than two."
