When they said diamonds were a girl's best friend, they weren't kidding. A German company has announced that it will produce a diamond razor blade that could completely overhaul the world of ladies' grooming.

77diamonds.com reported that the tantalizing toiletry would be outfitted with a tungsten carbide razor covered with a film of industrial-grade diamond for an "extremely close" shave. The price would be lower than laser hair-removal treatments, and more money would be saved over time due to the fact that one would never have to replace the razor.

According to the report, the razor was still under production, but could be shipped out by the end of 2010.
