Madoff, who is the admitted mastermind of what has been described as the largest Ponzi scheme in American history, was sentences to 150 years in prison for his crimes.
According to M&C News, among the pieces sold in the recent auction, were one of his wife's diamond ring and a Steinway grand piano.
The 10.5-carat diamond ring sold for $550,000, while the Steinway grand piano sold for $42,000.
