Peregrine Diamonds Pleased with Nanuq North Results

Canadian miner Peregrine Diamonds Ltd posted the performance report for the Nanuq North project, which is located in the country's northwestern Nunavut region, saying the 33,100 hectare area was yielding favorable results.
The diamond miner reported results for a 1,008kg sample collected by core drilling from the NQN-001 kimberlite at the Nanuq North project.

According to Market Watch, exploration expenditures at the site are currently funded on a 50/50 basis by Peregrine and Indicator Minerals Inc.
The miner further reported that the 1,008kg sample from the NQN-001kimberlite yielded 612 diamonds larger than 0.075mm in size and two diamonds larger than the 0.600mm in size.
Peregrine said that 96 kimberlite indicator samples collected at the location throughout 2010 are still pending, adding that it was currently devising an exploration program which could include the drilling of high priority targets and further diamond recovery.
