New Algorithms for the Analysis of Multi-way Data Arrays in Analytical Chemistry

In this paper, a new drill (flute of which is distinct, drill point is termed non-coaxial helical drill point) is focused on. The thesis study on the following areas:1. Geometric characteristic of non-coaxial helical drill point is analyzed and solved base on mathematic models, which provide theoretically interpretation for cutting performance of new drill point.2. A dressing method suitable to chisel edge of micro-drill is proposed. The dressing mathematic model of chisel edge is set up in accordance with the motion relations, and geometric characteristic of new chisel edge is analyzed and solved based on the mathematic model.3. The grinding methods of planar drill point are discussed. Geometric characteristic of planar drill point is analyzed and solved.4. The computer aided design (CAD) and simulating system for drill is perfected. Based on the engineering database, this system, which adapted the model construct, is easy to operate and quite applicable.5. New drills are manufactured, and the measure values ace identical to design values fundamentally. It prove practically the correctness of all mathematic models, of the CAD and simulating system for drill, and of simulating results.6. The compared experiment of two new drills, one’s chisel edge is not dressed and chisel edge of another drill is dressed, is processed. The result demonstrate that after dressing chisel edge the cutting performance of new drill is improved.7. New drill and planar drill are compared base on the theory analyzing and cutting experiment.The research prove that new drill avoid the flaws of planar drill, so new drill is more suitable to micro-drill. By using CAD and simulating system for drill, a great deal of manpower, material resources and financial resources can be saved, which? is advantageous to popularizing the new drill.
