They may be Down Under, but the jewelry of celebs attending the 51st Logie Awards at Melbourne's Crown Entertainment Complex is definitely right side up. Aside from diamond and rubies, a beaded swine flu mask made its debut.
Red carpet veteran and TV star Kerri-Anne Kennerley appeared in a fire engine red Alex Perry gown, draped in a breathtaking diamond and ruby necklace which the star said is worth a million dollars.
Jodi Gordon of “Home and Away” wore $70,000 Bundi earrings, while other celebs chose Jan Logan fine jewellery.
Dominating the carpet this year were one-shouldered dresses, full length designs and trains. Accompanied by husband Lachlan, Sarah Murdoch wore a black one-shoulder dress with sparkling diamonds.
“Home and Away” actor Josh Quong Tart stood out with his swine flu mask, which was embedded with purple beads to match his purple suit.
