Granite urns contains two terminological meanings, memorial urns and architectural urns. There are mainly large decorative granite urns for architectural purposes, such as garden granite urns, outdoor urn, fountain urn, table urn etc. Garden vases and planters are often called urns in a broad sense. They do bear certain similarities in terms of appearance except the vases and planters have open structures.
