Blue Nile Diamond Company Sponsors First Public Engagement at NASDAQ

Blue Nile Inc, an online retailer of diamonds and diamond jewelry, sponsored the first public engagement to take place at the NASDAQ building in New York's Times Square.
The winner of the diamond company's "Ring It. Sing It." Contest, Perry Whan, received a vacation for two to New York, a custom-designed diamond engagement ring and a chance to propose to his girlfriend, Michaela Maloney, at NASDAQ – a first-of-its-kind event.
"The public declaration of love between Perry and Michaela seems an especially appropriate way of celebrating this most wonderful time of the year," said Blue Nile CEO Diane Irvine.
