Israel's Polished Diamond Exports Up 32% in November

Israel's polished diamond exports for November 2010 totaled $1.2 billion, an increase of 32.3% over November 2009, according to data from the Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS).
Net exports totaled $549.6 million, a modest increase of 4.4% over the corresponding month of 2009.
In November, Israel imported $572.6 million worth of polished diamonds.
From January-November 2010, Israel's polished diamond exports totaled $5.4 billion, 49% more than in the corresponding period of 2009, when total exports for the first 11 months of the year came in at $3.6 billion.
