Yellow Diamond Pendant Sells for $434,000 at Bonhams Fine Jewelry Auction

A yellow diamond pendant necklace was the top-selling lot at Bonham's Fine Jewelry Auction, held in New York on December 15.
The 25.56-carat square modified brilliant cut yellow colored diamond pendant sold for $434,000. Another prize lot was a diamond ring set with three stones – including a 7.01-carat center diamond, which fetched $218,000.
An Art Deco bracelet set with diamonds and colored gemstones sold for $146,000 and a diamond solitaire ring set with a pear-shaped stone sold for $164,000.
In total, the Fine Jewelry Sale realized a total of $4.2 million.
