Indian Police Arrest 3 in $2.2M Diamond Jewelry Robbery

Raids by police in India's Delhi and Ghaziabad region resulted in the arrest of three men suspected of stealing $2.2 million worth of gold jewelry and diamonds from the Tanishq diamond company's showroom in Chandigarh early Thursday.
The Times of India reported that the three men in custody were part of a group of 10-12 armed robbers who allegedly overpowered three security guards at the diamond store and emptied the showroom of its stock of gold and diamonds.
Police also recovered all of the stolen jewelry.
